Located at the Arctic Circle in Alaska, Top o’ the World park is the northernmost play field in the Tapey Beercone Annals. Built in a large opening at the BLM campsite situated at the intersection of the Arctic Circle and Alaska’s Dalton Highway, the field terrain was a mixture of compacted gravel and uneven brush grindings making all running and fielding an adventure. For the most part the field was wide open, with some trees in the distant outfield, but with the uneven terrain the park still played in favor of offense. The field was also plagued by unending squadrons of vicious, blood thirsty mosquitoes, and to avoid being eaten alive all participants would constantly move about to outmaneuver the swarms.
