Incline Acres

Inclines Arces was established on the homestead of Founding Regent Chris “The Rooster”/”The Dragon”, and was first used as the host site for the 2021 Chris-Mass Classic. Since then the field has remained the host site for that annual event.

Incline arces is located in the picturesque Sierra Nevada foothills and owes it’s name to the slight incline on which the play surface was laid, which slopes upwards towards center field and with left field slightly higher than right field. The field typically features the established base objects, with a wheel barrow at 1st, spare tire at 2nd, and beer cooler at 3rd. Over the years the field has featured games in the dry heat, the biting cold and snow as well as games in the whipping rain, and at all times the field has played excellently. The mowed meadow play surface is filled with bumps and divots requiring skilled play from fielders and the outfield features oak trees as obstacles, particularly in down the left field line were an un-mowed ground ball zone was created.
