In accordance with Article II of the Tapey Beercone Charter, we, the Commissioners of Tapey Beercone, have taken the initiative to propose the follow Amendments to said Charter. This letter constitutes an official public notice of proposed Amendments to the Tapey Beercone Charter, effective date 27th December, 2023. Public Notice and Comment period will end at 11:59 PST on 10th January, 2024. Please address all questions or comments to the Office of the Commissioners of Tapey Beercone. Proposed Amendment I: Article III – The Tapey Beercone Player’s Association
Current Text:
The Tapey Beercone Player’s Association is the body of all persons who have participated in the play of a game of Tapey Beercone. Membership in the Player’s Association is automatic and compulsory for all players. Members of the Player’s Association not serving on the Board of Regents are granted delegate status within the Tapey Beercone Beer Congress. All present members of the Player’s Association are responsible for ensuring an ample supply of beer is present before the beginning of any game. Any player may be expelled from the Player’s Association following execution of due process of law. Any player facing expulsion may appeal to the Arbiter of Tapey Beercone for clemency.
Proposed Text:

Section A: Exile
In cases of extraordinary moral turpitude, a suspended player may be exiled from the Buckos Nation by super-duper majority vote of the Board of Regents. This condition causes a player to be removed from the game. References to the exiled shall be stricken from the Annals of Tapey Beercone wherever possible (where not possible, the exiled shall be referred to as “The Exiled”), the exiled shall be excluded from all future events, and labeled ‘Persona Non Grata’ and ‘Damnatio Memoriae’ in the Buckos Nation.
Proposed Amendment II: Article IV – The Board of Regents & Article VI – The Tapey Beercone Beer Congress
Current Article IV text:
The Board of Regents is the governing body of Tapey Beercone. It is comprised of SEVEN persons each serving as a Regent of Tapey Beercone. Each Regent shall have life tenure on the Board of Regents. Vacancies on the Board of Regents are filled by appointment by their previous occupant or, when the previous occupant cannot or will not appoint a successor, the Commissioners of Tapey Beercone, and confirmed by a super-majority of the remaining Regents. Should a confirmed successor be of insufficient age, the position will be held in trust by a conservator regent until such time that the heir come of age. All players are eligible for the regency provided they meet the following conditions:

1. President of the Tapey Beercone Player’s Association – The President of the Tapey Beercone Player’s Association is charged with ensuring the availability of “The Official and Governing Rules of Tapey Beercone” to all players. The President of the Player’s Association is the final approving official for ALL appointments within Tapey Bercone.
Proposed text to add to Article VI:
The Speaker of the Tapey Beercone Beer Congress acts as, or designates, the President of the Tapey Beercone Player’s Association in all matters concerning the Tapey Beercone Player’s Association. The President of the Tapey Beercone Player’s Association is charged with ensuring the availability of “The Official and Governing Rules of Tapey Beercone” to all players. The President of the Player’s Association is the final approving official for ALL appointments within Tapey Bercone.
Further actions will be taken as the Tapey Beercone Board of Regents deems appropriate and necessary upon expiration of the Public Notice Period.
