For the first time in Season 5, Tapey Beercone went back to The Ranch for an exciting two game series at Sun Scorched New Gordon Field.

For the 2nd time, the Tapey Beercone Open Game was held, this time with the event moved to a cooler month. But the action was just as hot, four teams battled but after a perfect inning pitched by Jim and two grand slams by “The Coach” their team emerged victorious.

During a trip to Spring Training the Buckos made sure to set aside some time for the important activities, which over course meant a game of Tapey Beercone out in the Arizona Desert.

Season 5 of Tapey Beercone opened with a bang with a series at beach games on The Dune Sea at at Pismo Beach. The action was intense especially in the first game. The game ended on a play of legend, known as the Immaculate Perception when, “The Hammer” representing the tying run, was caught stealing home by “The Coach”.

To cap off Season 4 of Tapey Beercone, one final game was played on New Year’s Eve at Lotus Park, also the site of the 2014 Winter Classic. An exciting game was played which ended in a walk off victory in the last inning.

A monumental day of Tapey Beercone was had in beautiful MacLeay, Oregon at ‘Lectric Acres featuring a double header of two hotly contested Tapey Beercone games which featured excellent play from a number of players new to Buckos League TBC including Pete “The Wildcat”, “X-tine” Christine, and “Artillery” Arthur “Ten Mile”!

July of 2016 saw the first running of the Tapey Beercone Open Game. A simultaneous round robin tournament, open to all, and played in the scorching heat of the Northern California summer at Trailerville Acres. The game brought a host of new players to the sport and saw exciting action up to the finish including three out of the park home runs. In the end it was “The Dragon”‘s team that won in an extra inning after the final matchup was tied through one inning.

Following “The Hammer”‘s wedding a large crowd gathered for not one, but two great Tapey Beercone games, the sport’s first Double Header!

To christen the newly created ‘Lecric Acres Tapey Beercone field a RR Exhibition game was held over Labor Day Weekend. An exciting game ensued and fun was had by all.
