Tapey Beercone comes in many forms. In the standard version of play, the game revolves around two somewhat evenly composed teams. Then there are variants, such as the three player version known as Icelandic Rules, or the four team round robin format used for the Tapey Beercone Open. In all these versions of play, the players are organized into teams. But what if there was a completely different way to play? News: Annals Updated following Tapey Beercone’s 10th Anniversary
Two weekends ago a very successful and exciting series of games were played over Beerpope Day Weekend at Anarchy Canyon. The weekend marked the 10th Anniversary of the creation of the Games of Kings, and the games marked the first games of Season 6. The Annals have now been updated to include content from both games of the series.

Tapey Beercone Celebrated its 10 Year Anniversary this past weekend marking a decade since beer cans were first wrapped in duct tape to play a base and ball sport. And with the Anniversary came a monumentous occurrence, the Coronation of a New Beerpope:

On a beautiful, sun shining day in Central California the Buckos met for The 2018 Winter Classic. Played at Creekview Court in Merced, CA, the Event provide an exciting end to Season 5.

Last month saw the third running of the Tapey Beercone Winter Classic, this year in Merced, California at the newly created field Creekview Court. The game was an exciting match pitting teams of three regents each, with each team assisted by one additional player. In the end it was Team Reverend Coach Master feat. “The Student” who emerged victorious.

To The Board of Regents and the Player’s Association at Large,
Allow this letter to serve as my formal nomination of “Artillery” Arthur “10 mile” for the Season 5 Jim Siemens Award of Excellence. Arthur was the Season 4 Rookie of the Season, and continued his masterful play of our great game during Season 5. While he certainly lacks the compilation of play time during the season compared to other players, he offsets this with outstanding proficiency during the games in which he did participate.

Re: Consolidation of Awards and New Nomination/Voting Procedure
As the current season draws to a close we again begin to contemplate our season ending traditions. One such tradition, held since Season 3, has seen the conferring of seasonal Awards. In past seasons a multitude of awards have been bestow, yet as we have heretofore reviewed our intent is to simplify and consolidate the awards for Season 5. Here is a summary of the awards we will confer, and the process by which the recipients will be determined, for Season 5:
